Stones and colour tossed at “Thyssen-Krupp” and “Obermeyer” offices

By chronik on February 10, 2022

Leipzig, february 10th 2022

In the night of 10 Feb, we attacked the office building at Kantstraße 2 with paint and stones. Two pig companies have their headquarters here. Thyssen Krupp and Obermeyer Group.

With this attack we want to create attention for the bombardments of Turkey in Kurdistan. A few days ago, the Turkish air force under the fascist AKP regime flew air strikes on the Mexmûr refugee camp, in the Şengal area, as well as in Dêrik in Rojava. This resulted in numerous deaths and injuries.

Thyssen-Krupp earns its money through arms deals with and in Turkey and has therefore become our target.
As a German industrial group with a focus on steel processing, the company produces blast furnaces, escalators and elevators, among other things. In addition to this production, Thysenkrupp, through its subsidiary „ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS)“, earns multi-digit billions from the construction of warships of all kinds. The Turkish Navy has been a loyal customer of TKMS for over 50 years and is one of its main customers.
Another branch of the company is a steel production facility in northwestern Turkey. In the province of Kocaeli, the company established the subsidiary „Thyssenkrupp Materials Turkey“.

Obermeyer is an internationally active engineering company which was responsible for the design of the new prison in Rottweil-Esch, and is also involved in the planning of infrastructure for the Bundeswehr.

European governments are complicit in the war against the revolution in Kurdistan, and companies like Thyssen-Krupp and Obermayer are profiting from it. The states and corporations of Europe support Erdogan’s war machine economically and politically.

But we stand by the side of the struggle for liberation in Kurdistan!

Revolutionary greetings to those who fight in Rojava!
